The Hero Shooter Marvel Rivals Unabashedly Introduces the Fresh Lady Loki Costume

While some may label Marvel Rivals as an imitation of Overwatch, creator NetEase deserves credit for finding innovative ways to appeal to its eager and dedicated audience. Introducing Lady Loki, a completely new costume for the current Strategist hero Loki, providing players a faithful to the comics depiction of the Norse trickster god(dess).

Not Hela, But Loki

Despite some predictions and fears, the highly anticipated Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Instead, it is a complete reskin of Loki the character, complete with fresh voiceover work. Based on the official preview, Lady Loki retains all of Loki's core powers: Mystical Missile, Deception, and Doppelgänger. The sole difference is her striking new look, designed to appeal to an audience more than ready to spend their Lattice.

Hearing and Seeing Lady Loki

Here is a look at Lady Loki in action, accompanied by a taste of her new voiceover, performed by voice actor Abby Trott. It's worth noting Trott is also the voice behind Magik in Marvel Rivals.

Her dialogue and onscreen presence bring a new dynamic to the familiar kit.

A Gateway to Future Skins

Now that NetEase has broken the seal with this gender-swapped skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is busy speculating about future possibilities. Fan suggestions currently include:

• Gwenpool as the forthcoming Deadpool.
• Jane Foster as Thor.
• Spider-Gwen as Spider-Woman.

The big question remains: Will NetEase have the guts to deliver more obscure alternate versions, such as former hero Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably hinge on fan demand!
